At ninety-one, postmaster Katsuhisa Nakata continues to care for these fragments of memory. A quiet meditation on time, absence, and the weight of words that may never be read. Shot on location in Awashima, with real letters read by Japanese voices, and a silhouette cast against the Seto Inland Sea sky.
